Thats right I said Trunk and not Trick. It was our annual church Halloween party on Saturday. It's always fun for the kids, they are happy to dress-up and want to see all their friends dressed-up too. The kids were funny,so excited to get to dress up and go Trunk or Treating! As soon as their costumes were on they were like, "k, lets go! What are we waiting for!" After taking a few pictures we were on our way.

Once there we started by playing games, Jarron stuck with dad and sat on a balloon, ate a donut off a string, did a ring toss, etc. Kaiya just kept wandering around saying "I want to trick or treat". She had to be talked into doing anything, she didn't want to play games she wanted to trick or treat! We finally got her to bob for apples but it was more like grab an apple. :) They didn't care they just wanted to eat the apple.

(these little princess are best friends. Kaiya and Eva Land)
After games came dinner and more questions about WHEN we were going to go trick or treating! Finally it was time! They each ran from Trunk to trunk holding out their bags for a treat, Rich following, and me, well trying to run ahead to get a picture or two.

This is the first Halloween that both understand what is really going on. They loved it. But then again what 2 or 3 1/2 year old kid doesn't like candy. All the kids in the ward kept going around and around to all the cars until all the candy was gone, but our kids just wanted to go around once and then wanted to EAT some of that candy. :) Not surprising to me they each wanted a sucker or as Kaiya calls it most of the time a lollipop.

So Disney it was...hmmmmm no more making fun of me for all my disney stuff. They look so cute. I should have taken my pics BEFORE the trick or treating. Isaac fell and cut his hand and he doesn't look too happy AND he's all dirty. Kids, when aren't they?
yeah, yeah. So we've officially become obsessed with Disney. (repenting for all past jabs) ;) I guess it just happens with kids!(and living near Disneyland) Not to mention we have a friend who helped us with the costumes not costing a fortune! I would have used your Zerg had Jarron been big enough! It was just fun to see them both dressed from their fav. movies!
No you just get what Grandpa Walt was trying to do... Bring Generations of families together. Call me crazy for calling him my grandpa....I don't care.
If he's you grandpa, Eliza, then he's my dad...MOM Sorry for intruding on your blog...Shauna Oblad
