Help us help Ammon. . .read his story

Our nephew Ammon has been fighting for his life for FOUR long years. In this time they have meet with 4 Cardiologists, 2 General Practitioners, 4 Neurologists, 1 Endocrinologist. . . .The list goes on to include more than 35 doctors! Each one was baffled. Each came up with a different treatment, some worked for a few weeks, some made it worse. According to doctors Ammon has chronic fatigue syndrome, sleep apnea, migraine disorder, orthostatic hypo tension, and autonomic nervous system dysfunction, among others.

This January after multiple doctor visits and no concrete answers he was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease. He has been working with an a doctor that has been able to help cure others with this disease. He receives a daily IV of antibiotics, and after 12 weeks he is gaining strength back and being able to sit up, and even walk around. As he is improving, his family is fighting to keep him on this medication. Because Lyme Disease is controversial, insurance will not pay for his treatments and they are EXTREMELY expensive.

Their money has run out and they're doing everything they can to find ways to continue the treatments necessary to remove the Lyme from his body. This Saturday they will be having a yard sale to try and raise money. If you have a few minutes, and a few dollars (every little bit helps), please consider stopping by. If you can't make it to the yard sale and would still like to help contribute PLEASE click on the paypal button on the right side bar.

On Rich's side. It's been awful for him and his family! It's been a long hard road it's a huge relief to FINALLY know what it is and to get the right treatment. But the cost of it is insanely expensive. Like my SIL said how can you put a price on your child's life? You do what you have to. So we're trying to help. THANK YOU KEL! Any help is a REALLY big deal!
